Erin Burnham hints that she was on vacation in Cabo, Mexico, when her son captured footage of a family of lynxes hanging around her very-snowy driveway. Meanwhile, a battle in the comments section rages on about what type of lynxes these animals are—Canadian lynx? Eastern bobcats? (Both species are in the lynx family.)

“SO GREATFUL Biscuit was safe indoors after this hunting party came through our yard early this morning,” Burnham wrote in his Instagram post sharing the footage, referring to her dog, Biscuit. “Way too close for comfort. Also seeing this video from my son with all the snow in my front yard while we are in, sunny Cabo makes us not want to go home today.”

The online community seems split on the type of mid-sized cat pictured here. (I’m going with bobcat, because I think I saw white beneath the tail of one of the cats, indicating it’s a bobcat.) However, everyone seems united in saying this encounter is absolutely awesome.
“Super lucky sighting! Wow,” wrote one person.
“You rarely ever see bobcats let alone 4 at once,” wrote another.
