Camping at Crawford State Park

Camping accommodations in Crawford State Park give you two options. You have the Iron Creek Campground, and the Clear Fork Campground. There are five tent sites in the Clear Fork Campground. It is close to a boat ramp and a wildlife kiosk to view the animals in their natural habitat.

At the Iron Creek Campground, there are forty-five sites available to camp at with electric and water hookups, hot showers and flush toilets. The Clear Fork Campground has 21 sites with showers, flush toilets, and a vault toilet. There are places for water located throughout the campground. You can depend on the campgrounds being patrolled for your safety and pets are allowed as long as they are held or on leashes. Amenities include a children’s playground, a dump station, visitor’s center, and a service building with running water and hot showers.

Things To Do at Crawford State Park

You can have a lot of fun in the park with biking, boating, swimming and fishing available for all campers. You can also use jet skis, go water skiing, go sailboarding, and horseback riding. During season, you can hunt waterfowl on the property. During the winter the activities include ice fishing, and cross-country skiing. You can go for a hike on one of the many trails nearby and enjoy a picnic at the group picnic area. The Black Canyon of the Gunnison is close to the park so you are guaranteed an amazing view.
