Cache Lake Camping Food – Five Minute Fryin’ Bread

Cache Lake is a small company offering great dehydrated camping food with a wide variety of easy to prepare meals that are excellent for camping, hiking or backpacking. The great thing about the foods they offer ease of preparation. Most are made with a frying pan, but some don’t even require that. All you do is add water to the mix, then stir, soak, or cook. There food is designed for experience campers and backpackers who are tired of hauling meals that do not fill them up. The packages are 4-6 ounces are compact but can feed up to 2 people. For example their soup mixes make 32 ounces worth of delicious soup.

Five Minute Fyin’ Bread

The original Fryin’ Bread from Cache Lake is an excellent tasting bread that cooks up in a frying pan in just 5 minutes. It comes in a few different flavors such as garlic, onion, dill, italian and plain and is so simple to make at your campsite or on the go. The bread is excellent and fresh making it great with any lunch or dinner meal. The package weight is just 5.6 ounces which is very small to have warm, fresh bread ready in 5 minutes at your campsite.

Fryin’ Bread Variations

Pizza Fryin’ Bread – An Italian flavored bread with a cheesy pizza filling. It can be made in 7 minutes!

Breakfast Fryin’ Bread – A flavorful, easy alternative for a breakfast meal or even good as a dessert. It comes in a variety of flavors such as cinnamon, caramel, cinnamon raisin, and cinnamon cranberry.

Sweet Potato Fryin’ Bread – A nutritious sweet bread which is great with any meal.

Fryin’ Pan Bread Scones – A lightly sweetened biscuit with cranberries, blueberries or raisins. It is a great breakfast meal or a side for any meal.

Fryin’ Pan Biscuits & Gravy – A great hot baking powder biscuits with sausage flavored bits and plenty of home-style gravy. The biscuits cook in 10-12 minutes with the gravy only taking 2 minutes.
