A newborn deer fawn is hanging around a college campus in Iowa, winning hearts with its rare and unique appearance. The fawn is all white due to either leucism or albinism. The Iowa DNR says white deer account for fewer than 1% of the state’s deer population, making this adorable baby quite rare.

Local news reports there have been several sightings of the white deer fawn on the Indian Hills Community College campus in Ottumwa. Because the baby is drawing attention from the public, the DNR released a statement encouraging people to stay away from the animal.
