Cache Lake Camping Food – Delicious Powdered Eggs

Cache Lake is a small company offering great camping foods with a wide variety of easy to prepare meals that are excellent for camping, hiking or backpacking. The great thing about the camping food they offer ease of preparation. Most are made with a frying pan, but some don’t even require that. All you do is add water to the mix, then stir, soak, or cook. There camping food is designed for experience campers and backpackers who are tired of hauling meals that do not fill them up. The packages are 4-6 ounces are compact but can feed up to 2 people. For example their soup mixes make 32 ounces worth of delicious soup.

Cache Lake makes many breakfast items but one of their staples is eggs that cook easily and taste just like fresh eggs. It is a powdered egg mix that cooks in 1-2 minutes. This is great for campers and backpackers who don’t want to or can’t carry eggs with them but are looking for a filling meal to start their morning.

Breakfast Egg Items

Scrambled Eggs – Comes in a variety of flavors such as plain, with bacon bits, with sausage bits, and with ham bits.

Cheese Omelet – A great omelet made with cheddar cheese.

Western Omelet – A delicious omelet made with red and green bell peppers and onion.

Tex-Mex Omelet – This has great south of the border flavor with taco-flavored meat, onions and peppers.
