Trail-cam footage of a wild horse taking a bath will certainly make your day better. Yukon Wildlife Cams, which operates a series of trail cams in Canada’s Yukon Territory, captured footage of three wild horses cooling off in a lake. Then, one horse decides to not only take a cool dip in the water but also take a mud bath. The horse rolls around in the mud until it’s good and filthy . . . perfect for deterring pesky insects.

“Possibly my most entertaining wild horse video showing one rolling in the lake and then the mud and dirt,” wrote Yukon Wildlife Cams in a Facebook post sharing the video. “Horses do this for a variety of reasons such as social status communication (like scent marking bears), protection from insects, grooming, and possibly as a means to stretch and massage itself.”
