A bright spot among the destructive flooding in the Jersey Shore area of Ocean City, New Jersey, came in the form of an adorably portly dog floating down the flooded street on a kayak. Footage from the dog’s owner, Robin Shaffer, is now going viral, because it’s just so cute and unexpected.

“An intense nor’easter flooded communities along the Jersey Shore on Saturday, forcing residents and their pets to get creative with their modes of transportation,” wrote ABC7 News in an Instagram post. “Footage filmed by Robin Shaffer shows his dog Daisy floating through the floodwaters in Ocean City on a kayak.”
