Vishal Subramanyan shared some incredible footage of a mountain lion interacting with and nursing her kittens on Instagram, and he couldn’t be more thrilled about it. The trail-cam footage is from the Diablo Mountain Range in central California, and Subramanyan says he’s been dreaming of capturing footage like this for years.

“For over 3 years, my friend @cyncross and I have been working to photograph and film mountain lions in the Diablo Range,” Subramanyan wrote in his Instagram post sharing the video. “One of our goals was to find a mom with kittens. This year, all our dreams came true when this mom nursed her 3 kittens in front of our camera for 20 minutes. One of the most special moments we’ve ever captured on camera, and we’re excited to continue following this family.”
