Flooding affected Las Vegas, Nevada, this past week, and some videos coming out of the city are shocking. Paul Contino has been sharing clips of flooded streets and sidewalks near the famous Las Vegas Strip, particularly near the LINQ Promenade, and many of them are going viral.

In one video, Contino films from what used to be a sidewalk as water gushes over railings and pours into a parking garage. While standing in the knee-deep water, Contino claims the water level is rising with every minute that passes.
Some people in the comments section note that that area was designed as a wash, but that doesn’t mean the footage is any less shocking.
