Gear of the Year Awards 2016: COAST FL75R Headlamp

The Camping Authority Announces Annual Gear Award for the COAST FL75R Headlamp

There are a few pieces of gear that are essential for enjoying the outdoors. This is the gear that will save you in a bind and you may not fully understand the importance of having essential gear until you need it most. A bright headlamp is probably number two on the must-have gear list.

When you pick up the Coast FL75R for the first time, you’ll realize that this isn’t an ordinary headlamp. At only 3.2 ounces, it still pushes out 530 lumens and stretches visible light out to 511 feet. The pure beam focus is easy to use and adjustable, for illuminating everything to your liking. It even makes night hiking rather enjoyable. You’ll get over 2 hours of use on high power and nearly 11 hours on low. Our favorite thing about a rechargeable headlamp, is that we know we’re always getting the full lumens every time we turn it on. No more messing around with alkaline batteries and wondering when to change them.

This Coast FL75R Headlamp is rechargeable, practical, and bright as ever. The Flex Charge Dual Power System allows for easy mobility and durability. Impact resistant and user-friendly, this high-performing headlamp contains multiple settings and lighting styles.
