A Good Samaritan saw a snake in the road, and, even though it was raining, she exited her vehicle and tried to encourage the animal to move to safety. What happened next will most certainly make you laugh, thanks to the woman’s hilarious commentary and reactions to the unexpected events playing out in front of her. It’s the classic case of “woman helps snake, snake moves in.”

Jaquie is the sweet do-gooder who loves snakes enough to not want them to be flattened by moving vehicles. But she doesn’t love them enough to want to transport them in her vehicle . . . and yet that’s pretty much the situation her act of good will got her in.
“I was trying to help,” Jaquie wrote in her viral Instagram post sharing her first-person footage of the incident.

As Jaquie tries to get the snake to finish crossing the road to safety, it decides to go straight under her car. She shrieks and pleads with the snake to keep moving, because now she can’t possibly leave. Then, it gets immeasurably worse.
The Instagram community showed up in the comments section with plenty of jokes.
“I have two things to say. 1. You are a very good person. 2. Leave that car and just forget about it. You don’t really need it,” wrote one commenter.
“Congratulations, your Honda just evolved into a Shelby Cobra,” joked another.
“That’s his car now,” jokes a third person.
