Man Spots Rattlesnake on Southern California Beach (Video)

One place you don’t expect to see rattlesnakes in southern California is at the ocean. One man who recently visited Crystal Cove in Newport Beach wants to remind people that even at the beach, people should watch where they step. Nicky Paris recently shared two videos on social media showing a rattlesnake crawling through the sand.

Paris clearly isn’t the only person who didn’t think to watch out for venomous snakes on SoCal beaches.

“I was today years old when I found out rattlesnakes hang on the beach,” wrote one person in the comments section.

“And here I was thinking the beach is the only place where I could be safe from rattlesnakes or snakes in general,” wrote another.
