Millions of Bees Escape After Truck Tips in Texas Neighborhood

A semi-truck full of bees took a wrong turn and then ended up tipping over in a Texas neighborhood. Millions of bees spilled from the tipped truck, causing a neighborhood shutdown. Local beekeepers came to help the clean-up effort.

Christie Ray of Queen Bee Supply LLC was one of those who came to lend a hand. Ray shared photos and videos on social media and with local news outlets.

“Not something you ever want to see, but so nice to see beekeepers helping beekeepers,” Ray wrote in one of her Facebook posts. “From commercial outfits to backyard beekeepers grateful for everyone that came out and helped!”
