You can’t go far online today without reading about the Northern Lights, which were visible from many places in the United States on Tuesday night. And the fun isn’t over yet. Meteorologists say the geomagnetic storms behind this relatively rare phenomenon aren’t over yet, and more people may be able to view the Aurora Borealis tonight from their homes as far south as Florida and Alabama.

Meteorologist Dylan Federico apparently received thousands of user-submitted photos of the Northern Lights from Tuesday evening, and he shared some of his favorite shots with his online community. They’re stunning.
