International media reports that organizers put together the largest search team in 50 years to search the waters of Scotland.

Loch Ness, which is a lake, extends about 23 miles. The body of water is best known for the folklore surrounding a large legendary creature that allegedly calls the Loch home.

Results from the Search for the Loch Ness Monster

The Loch Ness Centre, the organizers of the recent hunt, say they are still going through multiple reports and possibly sightings from the August event.

Organizers shared a few images online from the search for the Lochness Monster. However, there isn’t much evidence persuading most to think the creature nicknamed “Nessie” is real.

“This excitement this weekend has proven that the ongoing hunt for the Loch Ness Monster is still very much alive and continues to draw and attract a global audience from America, Canada, France, Italy, Japan and more,” Paul Nixon, general manager of the Loch Ness Centre, sent to FOX News in a press release. “We all want the same thing, to see and find out what the Loch Ness monster is. We’ve been delighted to welcome so many people into the Loch Ness Centre.”

The Centre provides history and information about the Loch, which includes tours and shared information about the legendary monster.

When questioned about Nessie’s existence, the website reads, “This is a difficult question to answer and the perfect reason to visit The Loch Ness Centre. You may leave with many questions answered or more possibilities to explore. The stories should inspire you to journey onwards to keep looking out into the loch.”

A recently reshared Big Foot video explained why people are so interested in these legendary creatures.
