San Francisco residents spotted coyotes playing in Crissy Field, an NPS (National Park Service)-managed area that also includes the iconic Golden Gate Bridge. A video of one coyote having the time of its life, tossing an object (or perhaps its prey) up into the air repeatedly, is gaining traction online. Meanwhile, a runner comes across the scene, makes eye contact with the coyote, and continues his run.

“[Coyote] sightings have become increasingly common in green areas within San Francisco,” wrote ABC News in an Instagram post sharing the video. “Coyotes maintain an important role in the area’s ecosystem, particularly by preying on different rodent species in the area, according to the San Francisco Department of Environment.”
