WATCH: Man Accidentally Handles Deadly Animal, and Films It

A British man visiting the Philippines is lucky to be alive after he handled a blue-ringed octopus, which has enough toxin-packed venom to kill a human with a single bite. There is no anti-venom. The man clearly did not realize he was handling the deadliest octopus in the world, and the video of him holding the animal is going viral.

Knowing full well what type of animal I was looking at when I saw this video for the first time, I was cringing so hard. Thankfully, the man walked away unscathed . . . and he has since learned a valuable lesson and helped many more people learn from his mistake.
