A pair of mountain lions came a little too close to home this weekend for one California family. Local KSBW 8 News reports that a viewer submitted footage from a home security camera showing two mountain lions right outside a house on El Caminito Road in Carmel Valley, California, which is inland from Monterey.
In the video, you can a mountain lion stop right in front of the camera and turn toward it, giving us all a fantastic close-up view. The cougar appears to be waiting for its companion, because when it turns and continues walking out of the frame, a second cougar follows right behind.
The homeowner submitted the footage to KSBW and asked that the news station warn people in the neighborhood to bring their pets in at night.
