A committed photographer had to sit in a creek while it was 20°F outside to get the photos he wanted, but he got the shots, and they’re incredible. Isaac Spotts was photographing moose as they waded in and drank from a creek in Wyoming. He sat in the creek a distance way as he patiently waited for the moose to do some photogenic things, despite the fact that it was freezing cold outside.

“I’d say it was well worth it!” Spotts wrote in his Instagram post sharing the photos.
People in the comments section have a lot of fitting adjectives for Spotts’ moose photos, including “stunning,” “magnificent,” and even “mystical.” Everyone seems to agree that the effort was worth the reward.
