Brenden Brady was riding his bike at Buntzen Lake in British Columbia, Canada, when he stopped to take a photo of a gorgeous sunset. Suddenly, Brady heard (and felt) footsteps on the bridge. It wasn’t another person; it was a bear, and Brady didn’t have a lot of options to get away. He stepped into a little spot on the other side of a railing and let the bear pass. He records his own reaction after the bear passes, and it’s hilarious.

“Slightly uncomfortable moment during a beautiful sunset @ Bunzten lake in BC Canada,” Brady wrote in an Instagram post sharing the funny footage. “[I’m] pretty sure that was my opportunity to pet that dawg.”
