A clever black bear was determined to get some human snacks from a cabin in California’s Lake Tahoe. The bear came sniffing around the cabin’s porch, realized a window was open, and easily broke the screen before climbing into the home.

According to ABC News, which shared the video in an Instagram post, once the bear got in, it stole some snacks. People in the comments section are saying the homeowners could have had it much worse.

“I mean it removed a screen. That’s mild. Coming from a Tahoe homeowner,” wrote one person.
“We have built on their land and destroyed their habitat. Bear squatter rights,” joked another.
