When it comes to ice fishing, there is a couple times of day that are typically the best. More often than not, fish seem to be the most active, which translates to the best fishing during the early morning hours and around sunset. If you can get out for the first couple hours of the day or the last few hours of the day, you’ll likely see your best fishing. This isn’t to say you can’t catch fish during the middle of the day, but the times around early morning and late evening is when you’ll have the best chances of catching the most fish possible.
