Camping Bellevue State Park in Delaware

Bellevue State Park is surrounded by some of the finest facilities including equestrian stables, tennis courts, gardens, a beautiful pond, and a wooded area. The park offers their guests a very peaceful and tranquil environment that most people come to when they just want to get away for a while.

Hiking In Bellevue State Park

1.6 miles of The Northern Delaware Greenway Trail run through Bellevue State Park. The total length of the trail is 10.4 miles.

Camping Accommodations

Unfortunately, overnight camping is not really what most guests come to Bellevue State Park for. However, they do have organized summer camps available for children to enjoy.


Bellevue State Park offers their guests: bike trails, concessions, conference rooms, day use facilities, horseshoe pits, a nature store, a playground, a picnic area, a picnic pavilion, restrooms, a tennis center, and wedding reception areas.

Things to do

With the exception of the summer camps for children, individuals come to Bellevue State Park to do just about everything but camping. The highlighted activities that this park offers their guests include: biking, disc golf, fishing, gardening, horseshoes, picnicking, tennis, volleyball, and playing on the playground. Individuals also come to this park when they are interested in being one with nature and relaxing for a while.

 Operating hours

The park is open from 8AM to sunset. The park office is open from 8AM to 4PM during the week. From April to October, the park office is opened on the weekends as well.


Fees to register for the summer camps arrange between $300 and $400. It is suggested that individuals contact the park directly regarding fees.
