Appearance: This mummy style bag looks good for how compact it can pack away. This model has a royal blue exterior and gray interior with a sturdy feeling zipper. This 30 degree bag can be used in all seasons as it ventilates well but has a fantastic insulated hood and chin baffles. The shingle-style construction creates a good looking bag offering maximum warmth with the ability to package in to a small compression sack. Not only does it look good on the outside but the inside is actually comfortable with a polyester lining fabric.
Ease Of Use: Well it doesn’t get much easier than taking it out of the bag (hardest part), and rolling it out in your tent. The full length, insulated zipper creates a draft tube with anti-snag guard that really does defend against cold air intrusion. It is 2 way zipper, that locks and allows you to adjust for the ventilation you need. If you and your spouse each have a bag, they are mateable and can zip together fast. Coming with a compression sack the bag, the Bero packs down to about the size of a soccer ball.
Weight: At a carry weight of 2 lbs 14 oz, the Eureka! Bero 30°F Sleeping bag is fairly light. Especially if you’re car camping, the pack down size is great to throw in the car and the weight is perfect. It may not be as ideal for true backpacking but a short hike in type of site it would fair very well.
Value: At Eureka is a great bag for the family and car camper. It gives you the insulation you’ll need for Fall and Spring camping, but the ventilation works well for summer camping.
