Grizzly Bear Rips up Archery Target at Yellowstone-Area Lodge

Shoshone Lodge and Guest Ranch outside of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming isn’t a stranger to grizzly-bear activity. However, for the first time ever, a grizzly bear targeted the lodge’s archery range. The company shared footage of a grizzly bear climbing over the hay bales at the archery range and even pulling an arrow from a bale before tossing it aside.

“It’s not uncommon to see bears come through our place, especially in spring and fall, but this is a first!” wrote Shoshone Lodge and Guest Ranch in the Instagram post. “Looks like we might be due for a new archery backstop.”
