REI’s famously lax return policy makes for some funny (and bizarre) return tags. PACT Outdoors shared a handful of return tags from REI employees that accepted returns from disgruntled customers, and they’re comical.

One tag, for instance, explains that a customer bought a $50 PACT Outdoors Bathroom Kit with the best intentions only to realize post-trip that he or she is just not going to poop in the woods . . . “under any circumstances.” A for effort, though.

“Shoutout to all the @rei sales associates who deal with some bizarre returns of PACT products,” wrote PACT in its Instagram post sharing the return tag photos. “We appreciate you! Here’s a few of our favorites . . .”
