FOX 7 Austin shared footage of officers in an unusual standoff with a sheep. The video shows multiple officers standing in the middle of a road in Texas. Police cruisers block traffic on the road occupied by the animal, but there are still plenty of cars nearby, and someone was filming from inside one of them. At one point, the sheep leaps and headbutts one of the officers, but the officer appears to be unharmed.

“Officers in the Wells Branch area were recently tasked with wrangling an animal that had brought traffic on a highway to a standstill,” wrote FOX 7 Austin in a social-media post sharing the video. “It did not want to go without a fight and attempted to headbutt the officers.”

“Traffic through there is baaaaaaaaad enough,” joked one person in the comments section.
“[The sheep] certainly pulled the wool over their eyes!” added another.
