A “world-famous” annual tradition in Gloucestershire, U.K., requires participants to race down a hill, chasing a rolling wheel of cheese. (Most participants end up rolling down the hill, too.) The first person to the bottom of the hill in each heat wins bragging rights and a large roll of cheese.

One of this year’s cheese-roll races included a woman dressed in a mouse onesie, and she won. Elise Alix Heugas told local media that she first heard of the race in sixth grade, and participating in a cheese roll was a bucket-list item for her.
“The moment I tripped I just armadilloed it down,” she said in a post-race interview. Heugas also said she wore elbow and knee pads beneath her mouse onesie to protect herself.
