An NBC Montana camera person witnessed a heated and awkward exchange between tourists when one group went off trail to get closer to a group of mountain goats in Montana’s Glacier National Park. In the video, you see two men have walked from the trail to a small hill where mountain goats are grazing.

That’s when someone starts shouting at the men from the trail, reminding them that they’re off trail and too close to the animals. The two men don’t agree that they’re off trail, and a verbal altercation ensues. A physical altercation nearly ensues as well, but other members of the group that stayed on trail intervene and encourage the two men to move on.
