The Utah DOT shared a video of one of the state’s wildlife overpasses as several baby animals cross.
The overpass sits above Interstate 80 in Parley’s Canyon near Salt Lake City. The video shows young deer and a moose calf safely able to cross the highway, thanks to the bridge.
Recent years have shown an increase in these structures as roadways and communities in the West expand. One of the largest is set for construction in Los Angeles to connect the Santa Monica mountains, which have been cut off by the 101 Freeway.
