Kaley Ekiyor was among the tourists visiting Volcán de Fuego in Guatemala, when it began to erupt, spewing hot ash and debris into the air. Ekiyor was recording a video when she and her hiking partner decided it was high time to get out of there. The pair began to run as hot rocks ejected from the volcano fell to the ground around them.

“POV: you hiked a little too close to a volcano,” wrote Ekiyor in her Instagram post.
Several other videos are now circulating on social media, in some cases showing the damage these burning rocks did to people’s clothing.
